Learn the basics from setting up your palette and choosing brushes, to breaking the composition into simple shapes and blocking in your painting. Simple warm up exercises will get your creativity flowing and then we’ll work on a large landscape painting to help you understand more about designing the composition, painting skies and creating distance, varying your brushstrokes, applying light and shadow, and using vibrant color to create energy in your work.

Lukas oil paints & some Lukas acrylics will be provided - bring your favorite brushes, sketchbook and canvas.
